Planned Parenthood is a horrible organization through and through. And it's beginning is disturbing. Excellent book that exposed the evil and lies of PP
This is a very important book and corrective to the fawning accolades given the founder ofPlanned Parenthood.Mr.Grant gives a brief over-view of her life. While he never entirely succeeds in estavblishing a firm link between her personal life (decadent however it may have been) and her (and her organization's) mission, still it says something about the latter if the former is corrupt.Obviously your views on faith and abortion will color one's acceptance/rejection of this book, but the big thing here is her quotes, which can't be refuted so easily, and which reveal an ugly soul inside.Highly recommended.

If you are against abortion you should read this book.
Easy and quick read about Margaret Sanger's life without any sugarcoating, but he should have backed up what he was saying better with quotes from Sanger's writing. He doesn't back up what he says enough with actual material, which hurts his credibility. I agree with his premise- Sanger's racist and eugenic beliefs are well documented- but he could have done a much better job supporting his arguments. This book could have been much more thorough. I've read a lot of material on Sanger's racism, and it's not that hard to make a case for it based on her writing. I'm not sure he did enough research to really present a compelling case. This should have been a much better and more thorough book, I don't think this will convince that many people who are not already against Sanger.
This is a helpful book giving the historical background to Planned Parenthood and the mind set of the people who first pushed the abortion agenda
