If you are looking for practical yet scientific methods on how to make decisions in life, then “In or Out†is a book you should be reading.The book is well organized and addresses the different phases of decision making.Methodically the author goes through the pre-decision phase addressing issues of why we might struggle when making decisions, describing internal and external factors that affect our decisions which we might not be aware of, as well as addressing our limitations.In the second section, the writer takes us through the actual decision making process. He introduces a plethora of tools that could be used for different cases as well as provides examples using these tools. The variation of tools is flexible enough that each person can choose what is best for their specific situation and does not corner us to use one specific method.The final section of the book talks about the post-decision phase, an often overlooked area in other similar genres. If the Title causes you to think "I’m not sure" then just spend the money and buy this book. It is worth reading, and for me and some of my friends, it came at the right time. I believe that life problems are just needing to be faced with “simply†a decision, so you either willingly and powerfully face these problems, or it will be forced painfully upon you.This book is written as a practical guideline for smart decision-making process so can help make it easier and value-based. Interesting book, I think everyone could benefit from reading it.
It reads like this...blah blah blah and my famous friend blah blah blah... and some rich guy I know blah blah blah... with some smart people I met... blah blah blah the university blah blah blah. I didn't see anything helpful...or even meaningful up through the first half of the book. That's all I could take.
Easy to follow and understand the factors that affect the decision making process. The author also sites some personal experiences whick make the book fun to read
