Great book with lots of great rib and marinade recipes. The cilantro lime marinade has been my favorite so far. The recipes are not overly complicated and I had all the ingredients in my kitchen so no special trips to the store.
My wife and I are both pretty good in the kitchen and we prepare meals on an almost daily basis. We have many different cookbooks, and also have found quite a few meal ideas on sites like Epicurious. Usually in a cookbook we will get a handful of good recipes, with the majority being ones that are somewhat filler. This book has quality ideas on almost every page, and it is very large for a cookbook.Don't hesitate to buy this book if you like to cook. This will keep us busy with new things to try for a very long time, and we got it just in time for grilling season.
I was looking for a good reference book on Rubs. This one did the trick. I have tried a few of the rubs with good success. This is a good complement to a cook book library.
Didn't think it would be that good.. has tons of good recipes that are actually tasty..
It is a great book and was a gift for our son. He said it was a great book and his wife loved it as well. They smoke all year long, rain, snow or sunshine, so a perfect gift.
