Good book but too updated in its conducting concepts. Need for a new modern book for Universities.
Despite the rather high cost of this book, I found the examples and the instruction to be very thorough and comprehensive. There are complete orchestral scores as well as smaller choral and chamber samples to practice various techniques like cueing entrances, phrasing dynamics, tempo changes, and managing complex rhythms.
Good book for trying with a small ensemble, but very expensive

Book is very informative about what the person has to learn inorder to conduct a piece of music. It also shows how to stand with the body, how to conduct different time signatures and has pieces to practice with. This book is very good and I would recommend it for a student in school or as a review.
It came fast in the mail so that was great. I gave it 3 stars because the binding was a bit broken. Other than that the pages of the book look great :)
