This "travel guide" doesn't cut it - because so much is missing that's useful to know but not included. For starters, it's a whopping 36 small (6" x 9") pages, leaving out pages with no travel guide content. This must set a record for cost per page of travel guides. My wife and I just returned from a three-day stay in Niagara Falls and had a wonderful time - highly recommend an excursion there. But don't rely on this "guide" to guide you well. Some examples: According to the web, there are curently 56 hotels operating within the city limits of Niagara Falls, Canada and New York together. This "guide" contains information on a whopping four hotels, all on the Canadian side. That's it - four to choose from - and all listed as hotels for the "budget traveler." A Super 8 with rooms starting at $69 is one example. Interested in a mid-priced or high-end hotel for that special anniversary weekend? You won't find any help here. What about a place to stay on the American side? Not one listed. How about food - need help finding a place to eat? There are hundreds of restaurants on the two sides of the Falls. This guide lists four, one a Bob Evans, another specializing in pizza. Do you think maybe a travel guide might contain maps to help you plan and move around? Not here - not one single map in the entire 36 pages. Think maybe photos have a place in a travel guide? Well, you are in luck. There are a whopping three small black and whiite photos in this "guide". Like to know about the Falls illumination each evening? Maybe some info on the days and times of the fireworks over the Falls? Not in this "guide". Like to learn something about or maybe visit the Erie or Welland Canals, which are close by and interesting side excursions? You won't get any help here. Or maybe visit the power plants driven by Niagara River flow? You guessed it - no help in this "guide." If you want a real travel guide, buy "Moon Niagara Falls" - it's a real travel guide with the info you would expect to find. Not perfect, but 4 stars from me. Or go online to "niagarafallsalive.com" - lots of good info, and it's up to date because it's web based. But do go to the Falls! It's a wonderful way to spend a long weekend and see a marvelous wonder of nature - and maybe learn a little history as well. Major battles of the War of 1812 were fought along the Niagara River, and it's interesting to see the Canadian's "take" on this War by a visit to Fort George, just a short drive from the Falls on the Canadian side and in Niagara on the Lake, which is s lovely quaint town and also worth a visit. But you won't find any of this mentioned in Niagara Falls Travel Guide.
Small but nice
Very Disappointing and overpriced! Did not expect such a thin book for $13! So many attractions left out and no pictures of any those mentioned. Did not get much out of the book and will be grabbing free information at rest areas on my way to the falls.
Very short, and what it does contain is idiosyncratic and does not hit the high spots. Buy something else.

This is more of a booklet instead of a book. Maybe 35 pages, all black and white. Thought it was a bit pricey, $14, for what you get.
Really enjoy reading the highlights of Niagara Falls. Can't wait to go check some the places that was mentioned in the book.
