Its a nicely put together book- and 20 years ago it might have been a huge hit ... but now? its dated.It's full of images of fingernail polish, ribbons, mirrors, tiaras and shopping bags!!! No no no... Teaching little girls that its more important to be beautiful than anything else?Thats like saying the frosting on cake is all we need?WRONG!Young adults need a solid and stronger foundation of self confidence built on their intelligence and integrity, not their looks and lucrative income ability to shop. Its like teaching them to buy and sell themselves.Kind of like how little girls are taught to be single parents with all the baby dolls pushed at them.My opinion...You want to give a little girl a "positive self esteem" coloring book - try Jess Volinski's books.
The pictures in this coloring book are really simple which as an adult colorist I really don't mind because some days I don't want alot of details. The messages on each page are really inspiring. I recommend this book to young and older women!!! Have a blast with it!!!
